6. Adunan yang mempunyai bahan seperti oat, kacang atau emping jagung selalunya agak lembik selepas diuli tetapi akan keras bila dibiarkan lama.
7. Tutup adunan yang sudah diuli sementara menantikan masa ia dicanai.
8. Jika tin pembakar dialas dengan kertas silikon atau foil, tidak perlu dilengser dengan marjerin.
9. Gunakan marjerin untuk melengser, bukan mentega kerana mentega mudah hangus. Bahagian dasar biskut akan menjadi pahit jika hangus.
10. Bila menyapu kuning telur di atas biskut, pastikan tiada yang tertumpah ke atas tin pembakar kerana ia akan mudah hangus dan biskut melekat di tin.
11. Sebaik saja masak, ubah biskut ke atas redai supaya ia mudah sejuk. Jika dibiar, wap akan terkumpul di bawah biskut dan menyebabkannya tidak tahan lama (cepat berkulat).
12. Letak sedikit gula di dalam balang biskut supaya ia kekal rangup.
13. Letak paket berisi ‘silica’ agar biskut tahan lama dan tidak berkulat.
14. Adunan yang tidak habis dibuat boleh dibungkus kemas dan disimpan di dalam peti sejuk. Keluarkan dan biar lembut semula sebelum dicanai.
